The MMM Zambia Vocational Training Centre was established in Ndola in 1998.
The aim of the centre is to provide young people with skills enabling them to be gainfully employed and able to provide for themselves and their families.

HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis are major killers in Zambia resulting in many families being decimated by these diseases, thus making such training and support imperative.

Currently two year VTC courses are provided in Bricklaying and Carpentry and one year course in Tailoring and Construction Management. The Construction Management course is open to past graduates and the purpose is to train construction supervisors and project foremen.

The total number of graduates from full-time and short courses since inception now exceeds 700. On commencing their course, the Bricklaying and Carpentry students receive a basic kit of tools. On completion of their course, they take their tools with them as they seek employment or commence their own business. Most are still employed or running their own business.
